EMN Italy National Contact Point Conference: Civic and Language Training for Third-Country Nationals in Italy – Good Practices, Policy Framework, and Future Perspectives
On November 11, 2026, a conference organized by the EMT Italy National Contact Point will address civic and language training as a component of integration policy for third-country nationals in Italy. The event will examine the policy and institutional frameworks underpinning these initiatives at both the national and European levels, including the importance of coordination across various levels of governance and among relevant stakeholders.
Discussions will focus specifically on the experience of regional civic and language training plans in Italy, supported through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). Key topics will include the accessibility and quality of training, regional disparities in provision, the coordination between language training and other areas of inclusion policy, and the continuity between measures taken in countries of origin and integration processes in Italy.
