On January 24, a European Migration Network ad hoc queries working group was held, focusing on the areas of migration and asylum.
The European Migration Network provides information on migration and asylum of third-country nationals in its publications. One of the ways of obtaining information is ad-hoc queries that an EU member state can ask the countries participating in the European Migration Network, receive answers and share the information with migration and asylum policy makers. In 2023, 53 questions were asked in the European migration network, two of which were asked by the EMT Latvian contact point. The information obtained in ad-hoc queries can be found here.
