The Cyprus Presidency invites applications for the European Migration Network Cyprus Presidency High Level Conference “Reviewing the Migration and Asylum Pact: Putting the Strategy into Practice”. The conference will take place on 20 May at the Filoxenia Conference Centre in Nicosia.
The conference will discuss the implementation of the Migration and Asylum Pact, focusing on the current situation and remaining challenges, while highlighting the significant changes brought about by the Pact. It will focus on the importance of preparedness and how all stakeholders – EU stakeholders, EU Member States, international organizations, civil society organizations and NGOs – can best work together.
The conference invites the participation of EU Member State governments, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, the International Organization for Migration, the Red Cross, civil society organizations, NGOs, and European Migration Network observer countries.
